Letters have been sent and the winners of this year’s Summit will be announced the night of our annual Delta Area Chamber of Commerce Chamber Summit.
This year it will be held on Saturday April 25, 2009 at the Millard County Fair Building at 7:00 pm.
We have an outstanding list of nominee for each of the categories. Come and join us for dinner and live entertainment with Ed Morris. Dinner will be catered buy The Pizza House and barbecue ribs are the main course.

April 2009 Chamber Social

Our April's Social will be held on April 8 at 12:00 at Mi Rancherito. The guest speaker will be Senator Dennis Stowell , Dist 28 Utah.

Chamber Summit

We are all looking forward to our up coming 2009 Chamber Summit. This year the date is April 25th, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Exhibit Building at the Millard County Fairgrounds. We are planning an evening of entertainment, food, and of course, the awards ceremony. We hope everyone has received their nomination forms which was sent out the 13 of March. It is very important that you take the few minutes and vote for the person(s) of your choice. Remember to vote for Spirit of the Chamber, Business of the Year, Employee of the Year and Area Giant.
Non of this will be possible without your vote's, so get them in early.

We did it!

We had a awesome Snow Goose Festival, Friday and Saturday the geese where out in the thousands. Bird watchers where in the hundreds. The weather was perfect, water was blue, calm, and the sun was warm and inviting. The DWR was there with their viewing gear in place and ready to answer the questions from the public. We had a wonderful Wild Goose Chase on Saturday, along with large turn out for the Skeet shot. There were ladies lined out the door to view the Mother Goose Craft Fair were they viewed a variety of crafts. Saturdays dinner was a perfect ending to a fantastic weekend of events. Marvin Payne was very informative and entertaining all in one.
A BIG Thanks to everyone who put in endless hours to make this festival possible. Shellie and Carol did an awesome job as Co-Chairwomen of the Festival. Bobbie, Dan, Rod and Josh for helping to plan and run the Wild Goose Chase. Ellen and Sindy for making the Mother Goose Fair fly smoothly. Reggie, Janice and Mike for the Wild Goose Shoot (skeet) who knock them it out of the air. Thanks for all the prep work form Delta City and Millard County employees. Thanks for Deb and Tim Haveron for passing out hundreds of
pamphlets about Millard County for Tourism, along with answering many questions about our fine county. And a BIG THANKS TO THE VOLUNTEERS WHO HELPED MAKE IT RUN SO SMOOTHLY THE DAYS OF THE FESTIVAL.
Over all it was the Best Snow Goose Festival Delta has had.
We are looking forward to next year and hope to see you all back!
